- I came to Irish traditional music quite late in life, when offspring were reaching the stage of early manhood and I began to realise the joys of life after divorce. I took up playing the Uilleann Pipes after hearing Liam o'Flynn's playing a couple of years ago. I also bought myself a concertina, just because I've always fancied one and, compared with the pipes, it's a lot easier to learn. For a living I perform company rescues.
